Digital Interventions

Making Digital Health Interventions Accessible and Affordable

Mental health digital therapeutics (DTx) are tools that use software to provide science-backed treatments for mental health issues like substance use disorder, chronic insomnia, and panic. Unlike regular apps, you can't just download these – they need a prescription from a licensed professional and can be used alone or in combination with psychotherapy and medication. The exciting part? They have the potential to revolutionize mental health care and make it more accessible, solving a big problem.

But here's the catch: our current policies and regulations aren't ready for these digital mental health innovations. This talk will dive into how experts on the cutting edge of behavioral health treatments are teaming up with the tech industry to bring evidence-based digital treatments into the mainstream, changing how technology and healthcare work together.
