PsyTech at CES
APA presented six sessions of content at the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show highlighting the role of behavioral science in the development and consumption of technology.
The field of psychology is uniquely suited to provide research-backed answers to the biggest questions we face about how humans and technology can most effectively interact.
How can we make AI ethical, humane, and safe? How can we protect our children online? How can we harness digital interventions to improve the health of all people? And how can we develop technology that bolsters the human experience? As the study of human behavior, psychology can provide answers to these and many more questions technologists are grappling with amid the rapid development of artificial intelligence, digital interventions for mental health, and more.
